I'm Jean-Paul Carrerou, owner of Protostar Solutions LLC and a state-certified AC contractor (CAC1824393) based right here in Winter Haven. I've spent over 12 years in this industry and started Protostar because I was tired of watching people get overcharged for sloppy work. I personally handle repairs, maintenance, and full system installations for homes and businesses across Polk County. I address problems, not symptoms. If your AC's broken there's a reason why, and I'll figure that out before selling you something you don't need. I'm not like the big companies. I don't have their overhead or their greed. What I do

 AC repair and diagnostics: $99 diagnostic visit, credited toward the repair if I fix it the same visit.

 Maintenance and tune-ups: Florida systems run hard all year. A tune-up catches the cheap fix before it turns into the expensive one.

 System replacement and new installs: straight options and a straight price. No pressure.

 Ductless mini-splits: for additions, garages, and rooms the main system can't keep cool.

 Commercial: rooftop units and light commercial service for businesses.

 Licensed and insured: Florida certified AC contractor, CAC1824393.

Where I work

Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Haines City, Bartow and the rest of Polk County, plus the greater area, Tampa included.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Saturday by appointment.

How much is a diagnostic visit? $99. If I do the repair on the same visit, the $99 goes toward it.

Are you licensed? Yes. I'm a Florida state-certified air conditioning contractor, license CAC1824393. You can look it up on the DBPR license search.

Do you work on businesses as well as homes? Yes. Homes and businesses, including rooftop units.

Do you install mini-splits? Yes. Single-room and multi-room ductless systems.
